There’s a common problem we see, and people try to solve it the wrong way. The problem is getting in shape. People decide, I need to do something physical, I need to lose weight, or get some better results on my blood panel so I need to start exercising.
They decide, I’ll start running! It’s low-cost, accessible and I can fit it into my schedule because I can do it anywhere. These are all great points that showcase the benefits of starting to run. Besides the obvious health benefits of improving your heart and lung function, and the mental benefits many runners boast.
The problem with this however, is that people aren’t properly equipped to run. Anyone whose gone out for a jog knows running can be stressful on your body. We’ve all experienced sore knees, calve cramps, tweaky lower backs and pain in the bottom of our feet.
That’s why we’ve created Strength Training for Runners.
This is our method to get people running without pain. We develop robustness and positional awareness through strength training and metabolic conditioning. We pair this with running skill drills and technique practice.
This gives you the ability to run without pain. Make running feel smooth and natural and build the strength for your muscles, tendons, ligaments and bones to handle it.
