Happy Monday. It’s cold!
To prepare for this cold, I spent yesterday stacking firewood. Every year I write this too; staking firewood is some great exercise.
You need to bend over, use your grip strength, rotate, lift and navigate the wheel barrow, regrip, rotate the other way, rinse, wash and repeat. I love it. Especially since, this is my 8th year stacking wood, I’m actually better at it. Who would have thought? What used to take me much longer is short work now. The boys were actually helpful too, which was amazing (and cute).
On Saturday, I built a shoe rack for our mudroom. Which I’m telling you to say I didn’t have any epic workouts over the weekend to write about. However, the garage is organized, I finally built that shoe rack for the mudroom and all of the firewood is stacked. It feels good!
I will workout today. On Monday after a couple days off, I like to try to do something fast and simple to build the momentum for the week.
Stay warm and see you in the gym!
