REcovery?

Saunas, cold plunges, and IV-drip bars are taking over.

If you’re considering adding an expensive recovery routine into your daily habits, I think there’s a big question to answer first.

Are you training hard enough?

Is there lower hanging fruit? Would the time spent “recovering” be used elsewhere? Another strength training workout? A 30 minute walk? Maybe some stretching on the floor while you’re watching TV?

In the sports performance world these methods can make a big difference. For us everyday people though, I think some protein and a walk could move the needle just as much—if not more.
