Hannah ran Dixon’s Revenge 5-miler on Saturday, which was the best kind of trail race. Very low key, and in a great spot right on the Cochecho River. Which was thrilling for the boys since they were able to plop rocks and get muddy.
I managed a weekend workout- Zercher squats - and moved many thousands of pounds of crushed stone under my deck for some better drainage. It felt very much like a fitness test. Scoop the rocks with a shovel, pour them into buckets, farmer’s carry the buckets 100 feet, climb up on the deck joists, balance and tip toe across, dump and repeat.
