Tuesday Check IN

Happy Tuesday, I hope you had a nice long weekend. I always find long weekends a bit jarring. Now it’s Tuesday, not Monday, and I’ll be slightly thrown off all week because of that. A little extra time off was nice though, even though I still spent the morning at the gym.

We had a solid crew show up for “Kendra” and “Murph” yesterday—in the rain no less!

I did Murph for the third time, and I’m really glad that I did. It’s a hard workout, and it’s daunting knowing how all those reps will stack up.

There’s this coaching philosophy I like to think on which is: should you specifically prepare for Murph leading up to it by doing lots of push ups and pull ups? Or will a well-rounded trading program allow you to just “drop in” and do it?

Yesterday was a show up and do it day, and I’m so glad I did. Shoutout to Rebecca for giving me a little push.

Elliot did some squats, push ups and pull ups with me, and then ran the final mile. It was pouring and we got soaked. We cut the mile a little short, but I was so pumped he went on the run.

I’m going to do Kendra workout this week, maybe Thursday or Friday.
